Matt & MacKenzie | Gothic Inspired Styled Elopement

Real couple, styled shoot. This shoot was SO much fun to piece together. I I wanted to created a shoot that could inspire alternative couples, so I knew that I wanted to have a really gothic, haunting feeling. Matt and MacKenzie were the perfect couple for that. We found the perfect gown for her at Forever 21 of all places, and I made the bouquet myself using florals I found in the Los Angeles Flower District. 
I wanted to find architecture that had a gothic mood to it and found the perfect Church in Pasadena that had just the dramatic light and structure I was searching for. We shot there first and then headed over to Eaton Canyon in Altadena and finished the shoot there with the sun setting behind them in the mountains. I'm so happy with the way this came out!
